Now that you've created and customized your venue and rooms, it's time to share the link, invite guests and host your first event!
1. Share the link to invite guests
To invite guests, all you have to do is click the Share Link button on the venue page and include this in your calendar invite.
So what is the difference between a "Host" and a "Guest"?
- You're automatically the host of your own venue that you create but you can make others hosts and there's no limit to how many you can have
- As a Host, you'll be able to:
- Open and close rooms
- Edit the settings for venue and rooms
- Go on stage (more to be talked about later)
- Shuffle everyone around in the room
- Change the background music/background chatter volume for the room
- Extend the room if your event is going over
To make someone a host, just hover over their video and click "Make Host" or send them the host link at the bottom of the venue page:
- As a Guest, you can:
- Join any room that is open
- Join any table is not private
- Start your own table
- Share your screen
- Toggle the background chatter and music for you personally
- Raise your hand
